My final graduate film is about sisters, Brooke and Aria, who are playing hide and seek together. Aria has Tourette Syndrome, meaning she tics and has never won as a hider before, she's too easy to find! But she has an idea to level the playing field a bit so that she can have a fairer chance at winning this time.
I often like to start my process through Thumbnails, getting my ideas and story beats out visually through tiny, quick sketches really helps me navigate where to go next before solidifying my ideas in a storyboard
Since my previous storyboards, I have learned (from industry professional Lauren Auty) that simple and confident lines are much better than sketchier lines to assure a clearer and easier to read image. So I incorporated what I learned into my own storyboards for this project! I found myself working faster and more efficiently this way too.
